Last Saturday saw the Kings and the Crosses share a toast to the newly wed Jamie and Paula, my brother and newly acquired sister-in-law. After getting hitched in Perth, Australia, they thought it time to pay a visit to us left back home in Kent so we could share our congratulations and celebrate in style at The Barnyard in Upchurch.
A truly wonderful evening had by all. Since it was organised by the bride’s mother and father, Sandra and Martin, they were well within their rights to embarrass their daughter, much to her dismay – Paula could not believe that her mum would make her and her new hubbie do their first dance again! How dare you mum!
What’s a celebration without a proud grandfather snapping away at his granddaughter, despite needing a steady hand to make his way over to get a better angle?! Great work granddad. I know as soon as that photo is printed, you’ll be telling anyone who will listen about the night. That’s what you folk are for!
Here’s to Mr & Mrs King! Cannot wait for some little nieces and nephews!
